Crochet Pretty Petals Hot Pad Pattern

Designed with heat in mind to protect those surfaces, this Crochet Pretty Petals Hot Pad uses Aunt Lydias Fashion Thread 3 and a 3.5 mm / E/ 4 hook. It is nice and tight to keep those surfaces away from your hot pots and plates.

These are 8" in diameter. You will need to cut 2 thicknesses of cotton quilt batting to fit the back of the Potholder. Cut one thickness of felt to fit the back of the pot holder for the lining. Place 2 layers of cotton quilt batting in the center, place lining on top and whipstitch in place.

If you prefer not to sew anything onto the pot holder, we have other pot holders. Notice that the pot holders are two layers to keep the heat from the table surfaces. Use common sense to prevent burns to your body or surfaces. Use caution.
