The amazing Crochet Globetrotter Shawl was a stitch-along many years ago, in 2016, featuring Kroy Sock Yarn. The marling and colour effects of this yarn really made for an elevated wrap experience.
During the filming of this back 10 years ago, I struggled with the Bruges Lace concept as I had a hard time following the crochet diagram. Luckily, the Yarnspirations designer agreed to change the diagram to have orange in the Brudges Lace part, as I was struggling to make sense of it. The two black-and-blue colours typically used in crochet diagrams were throwing me for a loop.
I ended up bring pretty proud of myself as the journey was worth learning something new.
