Care Instructions
Do not machine wash, do not expose to hot water, and do not use harsh cleaning ingredients. Use a soft-bristled brush to lightly scrub away any debris. Rub lightly in a circular motion to redistribute wax over unwanted scratches. Use only cold water and a mild detergent when needed.
The colouring, style, and quality match our Della Q The Crochet Crowd Maker's backpack, which is also coming out. The waxed canvas can look like shimmering clean water.
We asked Trish, Mikey's friend, what she needed, knowing she uses a walker. Ask the person using it what is essential.

- A bag that holds its shape and doesn't droop.
- The most important thing for Trish was to have an interior pocket with a closed zipper so she could put things into the bag and close the zipper so people could not easily reach in and grab things that were important to her.
Of course, the bag needs a quality liner. Knowing Karen is a painter, she hand-painted a picture, which was transferred to the soft liner used. Karen loves layers of paint and hides meanings in the bag that only a Crochet Crowder would know. I won't spoil it for you.
The bag's exterior layer is waxed canvas. It is done in a darker tone called Ocean but matches The Crochet Crowd logo. We prefer it dark so it won't show dirt easily. If the bag looks a bit weathered, heat it with a blow dryer or leave it out in the sun, and it will look new. Being waxed canvas, the bag will naturally repel most liquids and wipe off easily.
The bag can sit beside you with the top flaps completely out of the way so as not to interfere with your stitching.
The back of the bag was equally important. There are no pockets or areas where the bag can snag on a walker.
The front of the bag has two deep pockets for additional storage. Just like Trish shows above.
We also made custom Crochet Crowd Stitch Markers that are included with this bag. Labelled with the most important information such as hook size so if you need to put down your pocket, attach it to your project so you won't forget.
Slide your stitch markers onto the heavy-duty pin, which is placed to make them easy to find when you need them. The grommet holes also serve a dual purpose.
A removable pin bag identifier, available only with the Maker's Backpack, can be moved to the mobility bag in the grommet holes.
The identifier was a deal-breaker for her. I wanted it as it's a must-have for personal identification. It is extraordinary, which I will share in the bag article.
It's Much More than Just Walker
The bag will grab onto any armrest of a chair or bar that you may have. Keep your yarn projects off the ground and feed the yarn directly over the armrest to your hands.
If you are looking for a cheap bag, this is not it. Della Q's quality is elevated to match the branding of high-quality products. Lawd knows I have purchased bags ripped apart in a matter of days as I was focused on price, not quality.
