Crochet Beans & Bobbles Chevron Afghan

I'm excited to introduce the Beans & Bobbles Chevron Afghan. My favorite afghan will always be a chevron style, no matter what stitch is used. I grew up with a chevron afghan draped over the back of the sofa, so to me there is nothing more comforting.

This #CrochetBB is the first of a series of afghans that I will be presenting for you. I designed this to have no right or wrong side as the texture is seen and felt on both sides of the final project.

The bean stitch is a lovely stitch that reminds me of a woven basket.  Don't let the word bobble scare you off this pattern as this uses the simplest form of a bobble stitch to achieve the nubby texture on either side of the blanket.

I have crocheted my blanket using 5 Caron Big Cakes in Cookie Crumble.

The second page is only photos of my final afghan, so if you prefer to save ink, just set your printer to only print page 1.

I love the pattern and I want to do it exactly like the blue blanket that is pictured. Would I have to buy each color individually and change colors every row?

It's a Caron Cake product and the yarn changes colour on its own. If you wish to change the colour exactly for each row, then yes, you would need to buy separate balls of yarn.
