Easy does it is the Free Red Heart Crochet Sweet Lemonde Blanket Blanket pattern by Mikey, aka me. I had two balls of Pink Lemonade from the Red Heart Bitty Stripes yarn collection on hand, and I just wanted to move my hands and not overthink.
Judging by the yarn, I figured the striping would look like taffy or candy pulling to create the stripes. I did have some knots in the balls, but this pattern seemed to adapt to it without really calling attention to it.
I wanted to keep it simple and use two balls entirely without doing a border. I didn't want the stress.

Nice pattern! I would like to make it bigger like a throw size or afghan . What would be the beginning chain number stitches?
Thanks

You will chain as long as you wish, just make sure it is an odd number.
Here is an article to help you estimate how many chains to start to get the size you are hoping for.
