But, oh no! I've got a mission - to defy the idle hands theory and keep my fingers groovin'. I tell them it's my secret workout routine. Gotta keep these hands nimble, you know? No stiff joints for me!
Fast forward to coming home, and guess what? I'm not just talking the talk; I'm doily-walking the walk. I'm sitting there, quietly in my chair, pulling off some design magic. And voilà! I present to you my masterpiece – a 12" Aunt Lydia's Fashion 3 Thread Doily. Thicker than your grandma's crochet thread, and guess what? I used just one spool! Michaels, you're my hero.
Now, the instructions? Oh, they're a piece of cake! I didn't want to send anyone into a crochet-induced coma, so I kept it simple. But, here's the kicker – the last round. It's a bit like decoding a secret message. But fear not! I've got your back. I even made a mini clip demonstrating the moves. So, buckle up, buttercups, and let's get crafty!

Aunt Lydia's Fashion 3, 1 Spool. Colour is Cardinal. You will use nearly the entire spool.
Hook 2.5 mm.

Hey Mikey, just a quick note to let you know of 2 minor corrections to the pattern. 9th rnd, change all references of the dc to sc as 8th round are sc and 18th rnd delete the "in" just after the 1scfp. Love your friendly neighbourhood tester, lol 🙂

Round 8 is single crochet
Round 9 wants us to do single crochet into double crochet stitches. I am going to proceed on the assumption that I am doing sc into sc stitches but would like confirmation.
