This is the Spirit of America Crochet Afghan by Red Heart. This is completed with Red Heart's Super Saver. Red Heart yarn product, especially Super Saver, is considered America's favourite choice of yarn and is probably the most inexpensive yarn on the market today. I think this design is lovely and I really like the play of the colours with the blue and whites.

    The red heart Spirit of America pattern. I am having trouble with the third round of the star. Are you able to help me?

      Their round, each point is completely done before moving to the next one. You can create a chain and crochet back along the chain until you are back at the edge of the circle. If you notice, the stitches are sideways in the point of the star.
