Create a practical accessory for your cooler weather wear, yes, these are Crochet Boot Cuffs. Our Karen grabbed Bernat Felted yarn and customized her cuffs to match your body shape. I'll explain more below.

How She Customized Her Cuffs
Karen used a 6.5 mm / K/10.5 crochet hook and did the ribbing for around her ankle area. If she were going higher, like the model, based on body shape, she would need to use a different circumference for the cuffs higher up the leg. You can use a lower boot cuff or a higher boot cuff.
Karen did a few tries on her beginning chain to get close to the size she wanted. She changed the yarn from Red Heart Medley and used what she had on hand that matched her own personal vibe.
GET THE PATTERN
Salena Baca originally designed the boot cuffs for Red Heart many years ago. Karen used this pattern to customize for her own body shape.
She got her cuff close to 5" in height (without the top edge) and kept crocheting back and forth on the back loops to create the elastic tension of the natural stitch. Once she was satisfied with one, she applied the same to the other, matching the row count.
She sewed the edges together, then followed the pattern for the top edge, using the information to customize it for her sizing.

Karen likes her 'add-ons and added a couple of buttons to the cuff that serve no functional purpose. It's entirely ornamental.
Karen prefers her cuffs on the outside of her boots, but for some, depending on the space between the boot and skin, you may be able to tuck them in as well.

It may be an excellent idea for craft table sales and for small, practical, last-minute Christmas gifts as well.
