Perfect for Small Spaces: Christmas Trees
I’m a huge fan of miniature Christmas trees as they provide elements of decor but also allow people who are in senior’s facilities to have a personalized Christmas Tree without taking up too much space.
This pattern comes in three sizes starting at 6.5″ Tall to 13.5″. Using a Styrofoam Cone as the base as the items slip over top of the cone.
How this pattern works is that you will create bands of leaves in a circle. For example, if you see 9 layers in the mini white 6.5″ tree in the photo. There are 9 bands that are going over the cone. You can glue them into position and/or the bands will naturally snug itself to the cone.
I think this is a great project for the festive season. You can get the free pattern, it’s called Ruffle Fir Tree.
