I am trying to make the elephant but struggling with the trunk and ears. There is one way to make them with the pattern then a different way in the tutorials.
I'm sure that I'll be able to figure something out between the two.

That's a great question. Yarnspirations had a different host produce those videos. The question would have to go back to Yarnspirations for a design change for something like that. What is it about the ears and trunk that are throwing you off. They are not sold where I live to pick up a package to take a look it.
