New colouring for Caron Chunky Cupcakes comes to Michaels this fall, with exquisite colour layouts within the yarn. To finish it off, a complementary pom pom is included.
The yarn colouring changes sequence 12 times before the entire sequence repeats itself. It makes for a unique-looking appearance hat that is bursting at the seams with colour. This is the Caron Chunky Cupcakes Rib Stitch Beanie Hat pattern.
The ribbing nature of this hat causes the colour to sink one row below for a unique experience. Using double crochet front post stitches allows the stitches to gather at the spot to form a nicer fit.
An extended double crochet at the beginning is used to create the ribbing. It's about making the legs of the double crochet longer by using the centre of the hat in the middle as the anchor point.
