Easy Crochet Hat
An Easy Crochet Hat that is great for beginners. Though today, 2019, Red Heart Boutique's Eclipse is discontinued, this pattern remains relevant for yarns that fit 6 mm / J hook size.
For those who love to express themselves using colour, Red Heart Boutique's Eclipse Yarn line may be for you. I used a size 6.0 mm crochet hook though the yarn label calls for 6.5 mm. I did this on purpose to make the stitches nice and tight.

The Red Heart Boutique Eclipse Yarn Line is unlike typical yarn. The yarn appears to be knitted/braided together instead of just twisted. The yarn is really light in weight. Many people have commented that it makes for great lace or shawls. The entire line is deep hues in colour. Some of the colours such as Mountain Mist and Tidal Wave are really close in colouring but are slightly different. Be sure to read the label of the yarn before purchasing to ensure you are using the same colour.
