Any easy 2-row repeat crochet stitch called Stacking Shell Stitch. Heavy yarn, such as Red Heart Hygge yarn, can be nice and warm for the winter months. Part of keeping warm is also having stitches that are breathable too.
This is the Red Heart Daydream Scarf pattern. It's using discontinued Red Heart Dreamy yarn. Substitute easily with another Red Heart product as this pattern is years old but still a goody.
