Women’s Peak Hat

Crochet this Women’s Peak Hat crochet design. I was compelled by the brim and button to grab my attention. I was then looking at the stitches above the brim and absolutely adore the texture of this hat.

This hat can be dressed up or even just casual use. I think it’s a really great design.

  1. Your patterns only come via a video tutorial? I am “old school” and need a written pattern. No way can I sit in front of my computer watching a video and crochet at the same time. = )

    • No… all are generally written up. Only select is done as a written pattern. Why do you ask? There is a link to the free pattern in this article.

  2. Hello,

I can’t seem to get the 5th round right, I keep ending up with way too many stitches. As I read the pattern, i think I’m to do 1 dcfp, 1 DC, 1 dcfp, 2 DC and repeat. Any idea as to what I may be doing to get all those extra stitches? I am still fairly new to crochet and while I have the basic stitches down pat, I struggle with structured patterns and am.challenging myself a little with this intermediate pattern.

Thank you and I too really appreciate the left handed tutorials. There are not a lot of really good left handed ones and yours are a goldmine!

    Sincerely,

I agree with Marie. Would have been nice to have a tutorial for the hat from start to end for us beginners… now IM stuck and frustrated. And actually show at each row where we should be finishing….ps: every other video should be done from beginning to end pleaseee…PLEASE HELP US NEWBIES

  4. Ive tried to make this hat 3 separate times via written pattern …It was a mess each time …After watching your video I FINALLY got it down …Thank you so much ..I just love it …

  5. I found this pattern last year and have made 2 of these hats. One for a friend and one for me. I can’t wait for winter so that I can wear this hat again! I taught myself the stitches via video clips and i’m left handed…so if I can do it watching a right handed tutorial, anyone can! Lovely and warm too as it covers the ears nicely 🙂
