I think round 16 is not supposed to be there. It doesn’t separate the cluster rows far enough. As is, it’s cluster row, sc row, slip stitch row, sc row, and then it says to repeat round 12 which is cluster. Should there be 3 rows of hdc before starting the next cluster?

yes there should be three rnds of hdc before starting the next, then a sc rnd, the a sl st rnd then a cluster rnd – then a sc rnd – then a sl st row – then a sc rnd. Then back to the 3 rounds of hdc. hope that hellps – LJ

Finishing off the hat and doesn’t even fit my 8 year old lol I noticed in the pattern there was no mention of adding stitches or rows to make it fit for adult or child. Was this missing from the pattern? Is this hat made for baby, child or adult? Sorry but I’d like some clarity. I have stitched many of your designs and they turn out perfect.

I am doing the hat and it seems a little confusing. You say we stop stitching in spirals, but near the end rows it doesnt mention any chaining…. can you clarify?

Added a little note to pattern on why there wasn’t any chaining on the sl st rows. Hope that helps – lj

I made this hat but I only have 2 rows of the cluster stitch. Is this correct?

Marcia – Thank you! Yes the cluster rows are separated by 3 rows of hdc. In total 3 cluster rows as per the picture. I found my error in the pattern and made the adjustment – Thank you! -lj

Hi! I’m a bit stuck on Round 11… not sure where exactly I’m stitching into. I’m I going behind the slip stitch and catching the front loop of the sc from round 9?

Hello…in Round 11 should we sc in the top loops of the “slip stitches” from the “previous round” or in the top loops of the “sc stitches” from “Round 9”? Thank you…love this hat.
