Try this brand new pattern featuring the crochet waffle stitch. This is the Waffle Stitch Bucket Hat. Three versions are available. Three colour options are using Red Heart Super Saver Yarn. Colours include Dayglow, Retro Stripe or Pretty'n Pink (as shown below).
The pattern includes crochet diagrams for the growth of the flat section of the top of the hat and also the side waffle edging—an easy way to maintain the pattern.
