Crochet Waves and Leaves Blanket

The Crochet Waves and Leaves Blanket is a fantastic fall blanket for your home decor. I love the way the waves work in this one.

The wave is something I have never done or thought of before. With plateau tops with an easy valley. The way the double treble clusters work to make the pop off leaves is really ingenious.

There is a crochet diagram to follow as well.

Mikey, aka Michael Sellick, of The Crochet Crowd, started this online journey back in 2008. A mere hobby in trying to reach out to others as he was mentally struggling with his own issues. His goal was simple, find others in the yarn communities, like him, that have a common interest.

The journey and main baby of the whole idea started with a YouTube Channel and then in 2011, an official website was developed. Michael is not only the face of The Crochet Crowd but also the working engine behind the crowd in self-taught programming, social media and so much more.

Enjoy the stitching journey. Life is short, enjoy this wonderful hobby and all of the learning opportunities that come with it.

This pattern is beautiful but challenging. I have made 2-part check points every 15 stitches and I still keep making mistakes. I have to frog just about every row and a half. I’ve been working on this 9 days and only made 21 rows. How can I overcome this? I tried faking corrections instead of frogging but they didn’t help.

This is beautiful! Can’t wait to get the pattern! Will check back tomorrow, hopefully fixed by then😇.

    1. Mikey says:

      It’s fixed. 😀

If you watch the first few moments of the video you can actually screenshot the pattern because Mikey shows the pages before he begins his tutorial. That might help out until Yarninspirations can get the 404 error sorted out.

HI Mike, this looks so so wonderful! Is there a written pattern? If I click on the pattern link it takes me to the Yarnspiration site but says the page doesn’t exist

Oops, looks like we dropped a stitch! The page you’re looking for disappeared or doesn’t exist.

I have sent a request to Yarnspirations to inquire about the broken link. Thanks for letting me know.

I would love this pattern too. I’m a visual person so the diagram is great for me. I can follow the video but I wanted to know how much yarn I need to buy. Can’t see it on the page. Maybe I’ll cast it on my tv and see it. I love your videos. You explain it well.

I’ve searched yarnsperations, M’s Ca ada and yarncanada and no luck finding Bernat Symphony nevermind in Autumn Maple. I really want to make this for my Dad as he will be moving into a seniors home before end of year.

I have just received word from Yarnspirations.com that they are sold out in the online warehouses to have it shipped. It’s exclusive to JOANN in the USA. There is no room in Canadian Stores on the shelves for this brand at this moment.

I would like to have a copy of the pattern if I could have one
