I tried my hand at the fair isle knitted hat pattern using spare yarn I had on hand. I really made it my own choosing spare yarn I had on hand. Knowing how to do the Two Handed Two Color Knitting that I show below, it has changed my enjoy... by a lot.
I'm obsessed with the colour way of this hat.
The crochet version you see looks similar and is done with split single crochet. For me, I find that too difficult in crochet to be able to demonstrate it. So there will not be a tutorial for that option, just the knit.
Two Handed Two Color Knitting
I knitted one of these hats and it was way too tight. Marly Bird suggested to me to do two handed two colour knitting. She showed me how. This completely changed my approach, tension and made this so much more enjoyable.
