Hey Mikey, I really enjoy your site, what a great following you have created.

You probably already know about this–however; I just have to share. I found Sophies Universse on line (from England) and it has been the most fun project. If you have not looked at it yet/// I recommend that you take the time as a high priority. She used photo tutorials and are so detailed even in the verbage. Then another crocheter has done a tutorial. (You find the original deisign at: lookatwhatimade.com
See the video tutorials at: itsallinanutshell.com (she also gives you the links for the printed data.)
The manner in which she does the tutorial is amazing. very detailed! I think it will give you some amazing examples. Let me know what you think. (maybe start here)

As for the clothing….ALL I CAN SAY IS YEAH FOR US who no longer want to make scarfs, doilies, et. Crochet cloothing is a whole new thing. Baby dresses…no issues. I want to make some tops but ned 2x and then need to know how to adjust the pattrns even when I find one. It is a more expensive thing…and sometimes it is just better to buy ready made unfortunately.

I also think an article could be on NOT devaluing the crochet value by selling at the same prices as the china doilies. We need to ban together and bring up the value of what we can do for designers…perhaps you know some decorators who could lend a hand on this aspect. (It is sad to see baby afghans selling for less than the yarn (unless they are beginner/plain, etc)

I love this dress too, I have made three or four dresses now, I do think I like the fuller dress.
