Well, as I mentioned, I already had the pattern from several years ago. I sat down this morning to begin making this cowl and now I think I know why Yarnspirations probably took it down. I found several problems that totally perturbed me. But I am a persistent crocheter, and when I set my mind to make something I will figure it out. I have been up and working on this since about 5:00 this morning. It is now about 1:00 pm, and I have finally discovered the issues and corrected them so I can continue on. I'm not sure that I can share my "fixes" because I had to rewrite Rnd 4 of Motif A and Rnd 6 of Motif B. So that may be an infringement on Rohn Strong's design if I share it with others. I don't know.
I do thank you for the downloadable PDF. After going over it, I see they did not make the corrections. This pattern will drive you crazy if you can't figure it out. I am willing to help anyone who is struggling with it, but I don't think I can publish my corrections.

Thanks for the heads up. Happy New Year. I have just emailed into Yarnspirations to request they relink the pattern back up to the download. Soon as they are back from the holiday, I will get an update and a timing on how fast that can be done. Hopefully within a week. No promises yet but they are usually pretty quick about it.

Hi! I still don't see the Blue Velvet Cowl on Yarnspirations site. I have the pattern, but it seems to be missing a few things, like how many of each motif to make. I could probably figure it out, but it would be nice to see the pattern, again. I may have missed something in the download.

I know someone else complained about this a couple weeks ago. I have followed up on that but I haven't heard back. Yarnspirations has been dealing with the potential closure of JOANN and I haven't been applying pressure. Let me follow up again.

I'm going to pull the pattern suggestion off of our website so I don't upset further. I did check the internet archives to see if the PDF is hiding anywhere and my sources show it's not. Sorry for the inconvenience. I expected an update for the download button, not a complete removal of the pattern listing from Yarnspirations.
