The Crochet Twist N Shout Hat & Cowl is a combination of two projects to make it a complete set. Textured and visually neat pattern.
Originally, the pattern was made for Red Heart Heat Wave but then was changed over to Caron Simply Soft as shown here. The tutorials made for the original are still valid as the pattern wasn't changed, other than the yarn choice.
