    Crochet Bernat Velvet Stripes Blanket

For beginner level crocheters, the Crochet Bernat Velvet Stripes Blanket. The blanket is just single crochet back and forth. Changing the yarn every 6 rows for the effect that you see. It's a great little pattern if you are trying to use up some leftover yarn, or want something that doesn't take all your concentration to work on.

Will this work good of you add another yarn to the crushed velvet yarn & crochet both together?

you could very easily add another yarn but keep in mind you may need to change your hook size where the 2 yarns together would cause it to be a bit bulkier.
