Crochet Hugs & Kisses Shawl
My friends at The Crochet Crowd Stitch Social have challenged and inspired me to crochet more and more Hugs & Kisses designs. It's my pleasure to introduce you to my latest design, the Crochet Hugs & Kisses Shawl. This is one of the easier of the series so far to crochet.
I started and restarted this one a few times before I decided to use the Caron Big Cakes in Afternoon Tea. I had 2 of these cakes on hand but just wasn't sure if I enjoyed the colours. It wasn't until I started hooking and watching these beautiful colours start to blend that I watched this blossom into a lovely project.
Of course, you can use your favourite cakes or even try it in a solid colour. And this would make an awesome prayer shawl for a special person that needs comfort.

What is the difference between a "row" and a "round" in this pattern? I'm also confused with "pc" ...see below.
Rnd 21: Pc round. Rep of round 5 with this exception. Ch 2, hdc in same sp as join, hdc [*hdc, pc, hdc] extra hdc before corner, 3 hdc in corner. – 72 pc, 164 hdc. I'm not a beginner but this pattern has thrown me a curve. Any help/explanation would be greatly appreciated as I love the design. Thanks!

Rnd is a typo. It should say row. I'm sorry for the confusion.

What does "pc" stand for? Also the "row" numbers jump around...don't stay in order...am I still just not understanding? Sorry...

Why is the pattern only one page? I'm seeing comments about 22 rows and what I see for the pattern is only 9 rows.
Is there more to the pattern that I am not receiving?
Mikey says
I believe the pattern was revised for a simpler repeat to be easier to follow.
