    Crochet Afghan Pattern

This is a super easy afghan using neutral Bernat Chunky Yarn colours. Don't be like me and accidentally confuse this yarn with the Bernat Softee Chunky Yarn. It's not the same yarn. Bernat Chunky is a 400-gram large ball. I have provided those details in the Yarn Details button.

As promised, this is is a quick and easy project. It's using chunky yarn and a 10 mm or N size crochet hook. It's going to go super quick.

For those that would like this is the same afghan in different sizes, the multiple is 10 sts + 6. I explain that in the video tutorial as well. To help you even further, I did a crude crochet diagram of the main body of the stitchwork to show you how it's done. Remember in crochet diagrams, the dot means slip stitch.

I'm really sorry, but I can't read diagrams, do you have written instructions for this pattern pretty please, from one of your Uk fans

Which yarn?? Pattern says Softee Chunky. You say Chunky.
Do I use Bernet's complete directions or do I change yarn to Chunky?
Are they the same size? Does gage change if yarn changes?

Go with what the pattern says. I used to a different yarn in the video tutorial because I didn't have any Bernat Chunky on hand in my yarn collection. If you use Softee Chunky, you will go through a ton of balls where the Bernat Chunky is big balls and different. 🙂 Mikey

Mikey I love the pattern and your tutorials are terrific. I have a question. If I use the Bernat Big Ball Chunky Yarn, how many skeins do I need of each color? Thank you for your tutorials! 🙂

Mikey, instead of a slip stitch you did a sc on row two by mistake. Did you not notice that? Are we supposed to do a slip stitch or a sc?
