We have a simple Single Crochet Christmas Tree Skirt in 3 sizes starting with 4", 6" and 8" openings in the middle. Easy to do and a great stash buster. I have the foundations of each of the sizes figured out for you.
I'm leaving to you about the yarn choices and how much yarn to use. For a large size tree skirt, you may need up to 5 Red Heart Super Saver O'Go. This colour is called Christmas. It self-stripes on its own.
Consider looking at your yarn and puzzling together some colours.
Tips for Understanding Christmas Tree Skirt
- The skirt can be stopped at any time. You can customize the skirt to fit your space instead of what we believe it should be.
- There is a repeat of 1 row to make this happen.
- When starting, the centre will look smaller than what it ends up being because you are going to slightly stretch the project as you crochet it.
