We have a simple Single Crochet Christmas Tree Skirt in 3 sizes starting with 4″, 6″ and 8″ openings in the middle. Easy to do and a great stash buster. I have the foundations of each of the sizes figured out for you.

I’m leaving to you about the yarn choices and how much yarn to use. For a large size tree skirt, you may need up to 5 Red Heart Super Saver O’Go. This colour is called Christmas. It self-stripes on its own.

Consider looking at your yarn and puzzling together some colours.

Tips for Understanding Christmas Tree Skirt

  1. The skirt can be stopped at any time. You can customize the skirt to fit your space instead of what we believe it should be.
  2. There is a repeat of 1 row to make this happen.
  3. When starting, the centre will look smaller than what it ends up being because you are going to slightly stretch the project as you crochet it.
