If you are looking to expand skills in pattern reading, this is extremely helpful.
Some patterns have diagrams to follow. For foreign countries, sometimes you just need a diagram instead of the words you cannot understand.
When you see corner-to-corner concepts with pictures or shapes to form an image, this is called Graphghans. This is how to do the Corner to Corner Concept for this.
We also have Graphghans for single crochet for more defined pictures within projects. From blankets to pillows and more.
An easier form of doing Graphghans is called Tapestry Crochet. The yarn is carried under the stitchwork to hide it when it's not in use. This is how it's done.
Knitters
For the absolute basics of getting started, the workshop is available to use. Tunsian
Tunisian is a cross of knitting and crochet on a hook that is referred to as an Afghan Hook. It's a unique skill that can give the look of knitting in some stitches such as the Tunisian Knit Stitch. You can find an assorted choice of patterns for this and also on The Crochet Crowd YouTube Channel. Entrelac Crochet is also in this category that you may see a lot of.
Loom Knitters
For those with mobility issues or prefer to use looms for knitting, below is an overview of different tools. You will find several videos on The Crochet Crowd to assist you. We don't get too far into this topic, just the basics.
EZ Knitting
