Crochet Modern Granny Winter Scarf
This Crochet Modern Granny Winter Scarf hooks up super quick and the pattern design is perfect for the long color changes of Caron Cakes yarn. I used regular Cakes, just a bit over one Cake. My winter scarf weighs 9.7 oz, so I think it would work out great with using just one Caron Big Cake ball of yarn.
Of course, you can use your preferred worsted weight yarn. There are so many color options you can choose for this scarf. Think about school colors and favorite sports teams when planning your colors!

I made the scarf and love it. Thank you. I'm going to use the pattern with a tea cake and see about making a wrap.

So pretty, but it came out ridiculously short, and now I don't have time to finish it for Christmas. So disappointed. I can't figure out what happened as I have the same amount of blocks as the pictures, it's just really short.

So what are your finished measurements? Sorry you are disappointed. Can you post a photo?
Kate says
It's about 52x10. I can't figure out how to post a picture.

Just finished this beautiful scarf! Made it with Caron Big Cake, Cranberry Crisp. I don't like a very wide scarf so I made it through round 5 then the finishing round. It turned out perfect with no problems. Thank you so very much for all the beautiful easy to follow patterns. I would love a suggestion for a hat to match this scarf.
