Crochet Modern Granny Winter Scarf

This Crochet Modern Granny Winter Scarf hooks up super quick and the pattern design is perfect for the long color changes of Caron Cakes yarn.  I used regular Cakes, just a bit over one Cake.  My winter scarf weighs 9.7 oz, so I think it would work out great with using just one Caron Big Cake ball of yarn.

Of course, you can use your preferred worsted weight yarn.  There are so many color options you can choose for this scarf.  Think about school colors and favorite sports teams when planning your colors!

You finish off. End of Rnd 10 is the end of the scarf. Then there is a border.

This pattern is written in such a confusing way, you're left guessing and trying to put the photos together with your work to figure out what youre actually supposed to do. I even consulted youtube videos to try to figure it out. Absolute disappointment

I will pass the message to Jeanne to see if she can re-write or explain better. Thanks for the feedback.

This scarf is beautiful, I'm very excited to see how it turns out. I am on the second row and I am also having some rippling. And I too am having difficulty understanding the pattern. Particularly in instances where there's a ch 3 dc or similar. I'm not sure if the 3 belongs to the ch or the dc. And in sentences like "in sp (3 dc, ch, 3 dc) in sp, in next ch-3 sp..." it's very confusing. Also, if this is a duplicate comment I apologize. I was having some difficulty with my browser.
