Crochet Number Pillows

It’s easy as 1, 2, & 3, come to hook these Number Pillows with me. These are 13″ tall and match the Alphabet Pillows for sizing. These pillows are not difficult and pretty whimsical. If you keep yourself organized while crocheting them, they are relatively simple.

I visualize these as learning resources for teaching children colours and the alphabet at the same time. Imagine these hanging up in a classroom or lining the upper walls in a classroom for children to help them learn. I remember many classrooms I was in as a child where the letters and numbers were above the chalkboards to help me.

These patterns are not difficult. You must know how to read crochet diagrams to follow these. I will have tutorials for each letter available. The videos are organized in 4 chapters. Chapter 1 – 3 is identical in each tutorial to show you what to do. However, if you know what you are doing, because I have it by chapter, you can skip ahead to the letter for a walkthrough of the pattern with me.

Diagrams Blown Up

In the tutorial, I use full sheet sizes of each number for demonstration. The original pattern has 3 numbers per page. If you would like the numbers separated by page so you can read it easier, you can download this PDF to save the booklet and/or print the pages you need.

Daniel worked together with our friends at Yarnspirations to pull clear graphics to make this possible. As usual, Yarnspirations is excellent to work with and we enjoy our sponsorship relationship with them.

Mikey, aka Michael Sellick, of The Crochet Crowd, started this online journey back in 2008. A mere hobby in trying to reach out to others as he was mentally struggling with his own issues. His goal was simple, find others in the yarn communities, like him, that have a common interest.

The journey and main baby of the whole idea started with a YouTube Channel and then in 2011, an official website was developed. Michael is not only the face of The Crochet Crowd but also the working engine behind the crowd in self-taught programming, social media and so much more.

Enjoy the stitching journey. Life is short, enjoy this wonderful hobby and all of the learning opportunities that come with it.

Can not figure out the letter C for the life of me…please tell me there’s a video? I’m so confused! Thanks.

    1. There were too many complaints about the videos, so Mikey deleted all of them except the A.

I am looking for a crochet net scarf to be tied in the front, to hide a problem area of a bridesmaid dress that is to small for a big chested gal. Dress can not be altered and it is to late to order a larger size. The wedding is in May so I need something quick and easy and not bulky.

    Thank you
