Oh I agree, solids in the Caron Cakes would be Devine!! I have yet to use mine because I am still trying to decide on the right pattern. I only got 3 cakes as that is all I could afford (bought with my fair prize money). I have been looking at the photos coming in and well, I just don't like how one color just ends and another begins. I prefer a soft ending.

Caron Cake is made of part arylic and wool. Washing instructions say to hand wash and lay flat. Making a blanket and washing it by hand will be a little hard unless it's a small baby blanket. Can this type of yarn be machine washed and dryed? I guess someone would have to do an experiment to see how the yarn reacts otherwise it would only be good for scarfs.

I love the videos and tutorials I've just ordered a stitch stop and roll kit that was on sale (got to get that past him in doors hidden under the bernat blanket yarn I was allowed to order for Xmas pressies) so I'll probably get caron cakes about April next year but seriously crochet crowd saved my life. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety I tried knitting but due to dyslexia I can't cope with the pattern. I wanted to crochet but no one could teach me because I was left handed. I found the crochet crowd on YouTube and I've been hooked ever since big balls little balls I just love yarn balls. I know mikey had a tough time a while a go when Diva Dan had his heart attack having lost my dad not long before my prays were with him every step of the way, I am so glad to see him looking so good now. I love u guys as if u were family and everything you do for us is brill please know how great everything you do is and what a difference you both make to someone like me. Xxoo

use the tutorial mikey has on youTube. I think the instructions that come with the kit have an error in describing how to make a Dcbp (back post double crochet.
